چکیده

Autologous stromal vascular fraction (SVF) can be enzymatically released from lipoaspirate obtained under local anesthesia. SVF is known to have regenerative, anti-inflammatory, pain mitigating, and immune-modulatory properties. Our translational research network has been studying the safety and efficacy of SVF since 2012. Almost 100 related physician teams around the world are applying the same institutional review board–approved methods of SVF production, which use a surgically closed SVF isolation system. During the same outpatient surgical procedure, procured SVF is administered according to strict investigative protocols to mitigate diseases associated with chronic pain including arthritis, autoimmune disease, neurodegenerative disease, and various inflammatory conditions. The shared research collaborative online database contains safety and efficacy data on more than 3500 patients. Our processed SVF contains valuable anti-inflammatory cytokine growth factors in addition to both adult mesenchymal and hematopoietic stem cells targeting damaged, or inflamed tissue. SVF administration may potentially play a large role in the outpatient treatment of pain. In this article, we describe our protocol for the production and administration of SVF, and its safety and efficacy in the treatment of pain associated with chronic conditions. & 2016 Elsevier Inc. Adipose derived stromal vascular fraction improves early tendon healing: an experimental study in rabbits

Tendon never restores the complete biological and mechanical properties after healing. Bone marrow and recently adipose tissue have been used as the sources of mesenchymal stem cells, which have been proven to enhance tendon healing. Stromal vascular fraction (SVF), derived from adipose tissue by an enzymatic digestion, represents an alternative source of multipotent cells, which undergo differ...

Successful management of an equine carpal chip fracture by intra-articularly injected adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction after arthroscopic removal

Carpal chip fractures are common causes of lameness in racehorses. Due to disadvantages in surgical management, adjuvant treatment modalities are usually necessary. Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) have the potential to differentiate into other cell types including bone and cartilage cells. Adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction (SVF) is produced during ADSCs isolation from adipose tissue....

Effects of Uncultured Adipose Derived Stromal Vascular Fraction on Tendon Healing in Rabbits: A Histological and Immunohistochemical Study

Objective- To evaluate the potential effects of uncultured adipose derived stromal vascular fraction on tendon healing. Design- Prospective descriptive study. Animals- Twenty five adult male New Zealand white rabbits, weighing 2.5-3.0 kg were used. Five rabbits were used as donors of adipose tissue and the rest were divided into control and treatment groups. Procedures- The injury model was ...

Non-reconstructable peripheral vascular disease of the lower extremity in ten patients treated with adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction cells.

We present a series of ten patients with non-reconstructable peripheral vascular disease (PVD), secondary to arteriosclerosis (AS) and/or diabetes mellitus (DM), treated with local injection of non-expanded autologous, adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells for the purposes of enhancing neovascularization and chronic wound healing. Adipose tissue was surgically harvested and proc...

Applications of Cell Therapy in Vascular Surgery

Trying to use embryonic stem cells about 20 years ago, working with animals,  especially rats began. During these years , many experiments in mouse embryonic stem cells to transform into a variety of cells and transplanting them were led to remarkable success . In the next issue of human stem cells were considered successful until finally in 1998 the first report was published in the proliferat...
